This printed T-shirt is based on the recruiting poster “Black Toms” of the US Army during WWI.

This poster encourages the men of the United States during the first World war to join and fight the war with the US Tank Corps, which was a quite new unit by this time in History.

The monochrome print on the shirt is a reproduction of the “Black Toms” on an envelope from 1918. Although there is no rich color pattern, the simplified image is more interesting and memorable.
